TO DATE, SERVICE! HAS SERVED MORE THAN 10,000 MEALS TO UNEMPLOYED SERVICE-INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

Cafe Overlook

Located on the 16th floor of the Franklin County Courthouse, Cafe Overlook supports an evolving work environment in the hospitality industry by providing food service workers with everything they need to thrive, from a living wage and health insurance to childcare services, transportation support and job coaching. A joint project from Service! Relief for Hospitality Workers and the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, Cafe Overlook is an innovative collaboration between the public and private sectors with a mission to eliminate income insecurity among those working in the service industry. Cafe Overlook offers breakfast and lunch service on weekdays, doubling as an education and training program where staff gain invaluable mentorship from industry professionals while mastering back-of-house and front-of-house skills.

The Line (Coming soon)

A new restaurant destination from Service!

The Line’s mission is twofold—offering a live demonstration of running a high-level hospitality business, while at the same time mentoring employees in the skills required to succeed, be it on the service floor, crafting drinks behind the bar, or managing food orders back of house.

The Innovation Kitchen (Coming soon)

Centrally located, The Innovation Kitchen services two restaurant areas (Now Serving and The Line), and is a training ground for industry professionals looking to hone their craft in a supportedenvironment. Portal windows from various guest areas create a theater atmosphere showcasing the talent and professionalism of the cook team at work, viscerally reinforcing the Service! philosophy, respect for the industry.
